# Step 5 Preview

**Step 5 Preview 是 StepFun 面向真实任务的新一代旗舰基模**，重点覆盖编程与专业知识工作。模型原生支持文本、图片和视频输入，提供 **1M tokens 上下文窗口**，适合需要处理大量信息、调用工具，并持续推进到交付结果的任务。

* **多模态理解**：分析截图、图表和视频内容，并按照指定格式输出结论。

工具、搜索和代码执行能力由接入模型的应用提供，不代表模型会直接访问本地环境或外部服务。

## 接入方式

1. 在 StepFun 开放平台创建 API Key。
2. 打开[快速开始](https://platform.stepfun.com/docs/zh/quickstart/overview.md)，选择 Step 5 Preview，再切换文本对话、图片理解或视频理解示例。
3. 使用 cURL 或 Python 发送请求，并从 `choices[0].message.content` 读取结果。
4. 上线前根据 [API 参考](https://platform.stepfun.com/docs/zh/api-reference/chat/chat-completion-create.md)补齐超时、重试、错误处理和密钥管理。
